Davao City has been known for almost 10 years in implementing the ban of using fireworks, as a matter of fact, Davao has been a model city of such distinction despite having no glittery fireworks coloring the night sky nonetheless, there are other places to go to enjoy the yuletide season, one of which the antique shop nestled in the bustling commercial center of Lanang called Mana Davao; gigantic and towering Christmas garnitures embellishes the whole perimeter of the shop, one will really give a long glimpse or take a shoot of their cameras as it illuminates and be delighted by the beauty brought about by this man-made wonder. Not far from Mana de Davao there lies a new shopping mecca called SM Lanang Premier, the new mall brought a lot of first in the island of Mindanao, first IMAX theater, first SMX convention center and first Sky Garden, sophisticated environment-friendly area located at the facade of the mall. At night, playful and kaleidoscopic fountains will entertain as they strut their stuff and gracefully prance to the tune of the sound as they change color.

The sun is at its highest and the sky is at its bluest, the fluffy clouds mirrors in this vast body of water. Located in Brgy. Burbo-anan, Bislig City, before you reach the majestic Tinuy-an Falls, Lake 77 will take your breath away first. Established in 1977 ( Where the name of the lake is derived) This former reservoir of a defunct paper mill company now adding to the growing tourism industry of Bislig.

Bacolod City: Multitude of Sugar and Smiles

It is October!!! and what better way to kick off this month is to book yourself and take a trip to the City of Smiles, Bacolod  City. Situated on the northern corridor of Negros Occidental, this Ilonggo-tongued metropolis is filled with historical landmarks, nature havens and has a soft spot for sweet-tooths alike. Masskara Festival is celebrated every 3rd weekend of October, this merrymaking event create a sea of beaming smiles inundating the streets of Bacolod, to get a little bit of history of the festival, a period of economic crisis catapulted the said celebration to bring the spirits up of the Bacolodnon and the rest is history. As for my personal experience, I really enjoyed Masskara and Bacolod City in fact, I fell in love with the people and the city, one of the best places I visited so far. Talikud Island: An Indelible Reverie

Its 8 o’clock in the morning a pump boat docked in Sta Ana wharf patiently waited for us as well as the radiant smiles and fervent hugs by my relatives greeted us as we were reunited again. Together with my family and relatives we embarked in an island tour experience 1 specifically in Talikud Island . Angel's Cove First stop, the Angel's Cove according to the captain of the ship it is 15 feet deep, the stunning blue green waters lures us to jump and enjoys its ethereal charm. Babusanta Resort Second stop, the boat headed for Babusanta Resort for lunch. We shared delectable dishes prepared by my mom and aunts. A gastronomic banquet indeed! After we ate, we did some picture takings, bonding and we rest for awhile and savor the outlandish nature of Babusanta. I was really enthralled by the scenery offered by the place.
